Custom Home Earns NGBS Green Certification

Blue Heron Signature Homes completed their model home at Country Club Estates just in time to participate in the Spring Green Home Tour. This tour focuses on high-performance homes, and their builders, around the greater Raleigh area. The model home qualified for NGBS Green certification, one of the most stringent in the industry, and also was rated at a HERS score of 58. With this effort, Blue Heron proved it’s possible to build a high-end custom home that is just as efficient as far smaller homes with less glass area.
